Piano lessons with concert pianist Andrei Iliushkin

I’m a Royal Academy of Music–trained pianist who has performed in concert halls across the USA, Asia and Europe (including Wigmore Hall, St John’s Smith Square and St Martin-in-the-Fields), with over a decade of teaching experience. In my lessons, students build a secure technique while discovering what makes music meaningful to them, through storytelling, imagination and genuine curiosity. My aim is simple: confident, expressive players who love the piano and music for life.

In-person and online individually tailored lessons where musicality and technique grow together

For young beginners

Playful, imaginative first lessons to build musical foundations: reading, rhythm, coordination and a love of making music.

For ambitious young pianists

Structured preparation for ABRSM and Trinity exams, Junior Academy and Junior College entrance auditions, competitions and music scholarships, from a teacher who has been through the conservatoire path himself.

For adults

Whether you’re returning after years away or starting fresh, lessons are shaped around the music you want to play and the time you have.

Getting started

1.Get in touch. Tell me a little about the student, their experience and goals.

2.Trial lesson. We will meet at the piano, play, talk and find the right starting point.

3. Weekly lessons. Regular lessons in your home or at my studio, with clear goals each term.
